Evans Community Adult School and Hospitality Training Academy of Los Angeles have teamed up to offer an 18-day Integrated Education and Training (IET) Prep Cook training program with a direct pathway to employment.
The program offers intermediate ESL learners an opportunity to improve their English language skills, earn a ServSafe Food Handlers Certification, and prepare for employment with local employers! Participants will also gain computer, resume-writing and interview skills through hands-on training and will learn the basics of applying for jobs, customer service, and teamwork. Students will get to experience first hand how diversity in the workplace creates an improved work environment.
