Available for all currently enrolled LAUSD Division of Adult and Career Education students.
For the 2023-24 school year
The Los Angeles Unified School District Division of Adult and Career Education in partnership with Metro, is now offering FREE GoPass Transit Access Pass (TAP) cards to all of our students enrolled in the current 2023-24 school year!

Anyone enrolled into at least one of our classes between July of 2023 and June of 2024 qualifies. These free GoPass TAP cards will be good for unlimited free rides on Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) bus rail and subway lines, as well as on the following transit systems, through June 2024:

  • City of Commerce Transit
  • Culver CityBus
  • Foothill Transit
  • Glendale Beeline
  • GTrans
  • LADOT Dash
  • LA County Shuttles
  • Long Beach Transit
  • Montebello Bus
  • Norwalk Transit
  • Pasadena Transit
  • Santa Monica Big Blue Bus
  • Torrance Transit

Schools will have information about where to get the TAP Cards.
Students that are enrolled during school year 2023-24. Students that are enrolled/attending or have enrolled/attended school during the school year 2023-24, can get a TAP Card. Students who enroll in school prior to June 30, 2024, or during the school year.
No. Only students currently enrolled in one or more Division of Adult and Career Education classes are eligible to receive a free Metro GoPass TAP card.
Students are responsible for activating the TAP Cards. School will provide support to students when needed.

Yes, schools will provide a replacement card.

If your card is lost or stolen, contact your school administration for a replacement, and then go to taptogo.net/gopass to activate your new card number. 

YES, student have the option of using a physical card or the mobile app but NOT BOTH.
